42 is an international coding school with a revolutionairy curriculum. The school is tuition free, uses a gamified platform, has no teachers and is open 24/7. I was in charge of launching 42 Yerevan in Armenia as one of the main educational components of the EU TUMO Convergence Center.

During the research phase we visited different campuses around the world and analyzed the local market in Armenia.
We had planned many events to promote the admission, but because of the COVID pandemic we moved our marketing efforts to online platforms.
In our video ad we put emphasis on the program's main values and that it is accessible to anyone.
As the concept of 42 is very different compared to other educational programs, we made an informative website highlighting all the unique aspects of the project.
After several iterations we finalized the interior layout and started the procurement, construction and installation phases.
42 Yerevan launched in September 2020. We started with our first selection pool, a 1-month intensive coding bootcamp, to understand who is ready to participate in the core curriculum.
With a variety of marketing efforts, we were able to attract a diverse group of people with different backgrounds. 50% of the students at 42 Yerevan are female.
As there are no teachers at 42, students quickly learn that the only road to success is to work together. Besides technical skills, students also gain soft skills which are as important when they enter the job market.
In December 2020 we successfully concluded our 3 selection pools and selected 160 students to start the curriculum in 2021.
